As previously discussed, we must consider the appealing concept for the natural system of the design and construction cost of its elements, ELM.
It is important to understand that the construction of a machine-combination by an intelligent system necessarily entails a cost, that is to say, very diverse expenses.
THE NATURAL PRINCIPLE IS AS FOLLOWS:
INTELLIGENCE + CONSTRUCTION ===> COST
Any form of intelligence that constructs draws the elements of its intended construction from its own resources:
THIS IS CALLED « COST. »
And the natural system is an intelligent system.
The complement to this natural principle is the appealing concept of RETURN.
By drawing on its available resources to construct, the natural system has depleted some of them, and to understand this principle, one must consider the unsettling idea of a temporary weakening of the system.
The natural system must replenish these lost resources.
Yπ speaks of RETURN, or the replenishment of the natural system’s lost resources allocated to construction.
Regarding the machine-combination, like the human being, it must be considered that its design and construction have weakened the natural system.
At the end of its useful life (point B), it will be necessary:
– that the human being has replenished the resources depleted by the natural system.
– that the human being has contributed something positive to the natural system.
Therefore, the reproduction of the species must be considered not as a RIGHT, but as a factual outcome resulting from success, that is to say, from a combination that is enriching for the system that created it:
– reproduction takes into account the desirable concepts of cost and efficiency.
The elements of the natural system are not in a position to demand their own reproduction.
Reproduction is merely a means for the natural system to increase its resources, which are all directed towards the objective that the model represents for it.
We must understand that we exist and are part of an intelligent system, that is, a system in which all reasons for being converge toward a single objective for the system to achieve.
