REVIEW OF SELFISHNESS AND ALTRUISM (see article l3-4.a26).
In summary:
In the natural evolutionary situation of ELM elements (recognition of the natural system),
– SELFISHNESS is a pleasant idea based on PREPARING the machine-combination to perform its functions during its journey (AB).
– ALTRUISM is a pleasant idea based on EXECUTING its functions.
These two attitudes are therefore essential, consecutive, and complementary for the construction to be definitive.
In the unnatural situation (the case of a human being evolving within the anthropocentric system, after rejecting the natural system):
The logic and principles of the anthropocentric system will considerably distort these two natural ideas.
Human beings will push Egoism out of its utilitarian framework, thus preventing them from completing their development.
Then, simultaneously, humans will maintain altruism by depriving it of its natural reasons for existence (the provision of its operational mechanisms) while providing it with others designed to serve erroneous ideas.
The conclusion of this misuse of egoism and altruism is:
Thus, not only is the construction of the combined machine incomplete, but it will also either not function or will malfunction.
